Outrider raises $65 million

Outrider, a company known for autonomous yard operations for logistics hubs, has closed $65 million in Series B funding.  With $118 million raised to date, the company is positioned to scale and support the rapid automation.

Outrider offers an integrated, three-part system that includes management software, autonomous vehicles, and site infrastructure. With a click of a button, the system moves trailers to and from loading docks and parking spots, hitches and unhitches trailers, robotically connects and disconnects trailer brake lines, inventories trailer locations, and centrally monitors and controls all functions.

Outrider transforms electric yard trucks, sourced from leading OEM partners, into autonomous vehicles. Electric yard trucks are ideal for autonomy due to their reduced maintenance, lower operating costs, and reliable, clean power.
