Magenta Power and ematrixmile to set up 10,000 charging stations across Maharashtra

Magenta Power, an EV charging solutions provider, and eMatrixmile India, rental EV scooters company, have entered into an agreement to setup 10,000 EV charging stations across Maharashtra.

The companies for this have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). According to which QYK POD EV charging stations will be set up in a phased manner. This will include commissioning and installation of  as well as the requisite infrastructure. The 10,000 EV charging stations will be located in areas–  Mumbai, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and other parts of Maharashtra.

eMatrixmile is a Mumbai-based company that provides sustainable and on-demand transportation solutions through its EV scooters named Qyk. The company aims to expand its reach to more than 50 cities by 2021.

Magenta is an EV charging technology that has got investments from Hindustan Petroleum, Shell, and Microsoft. It is an end to end platform for designing, developing, installing and operating clean energy solutions. It has 3 business lines, Magenta ChargeGrid that designs and deploys Electric Vehicle Charging solutions, Magenta Power focuses on Rooftop Solar and Battery Storage systems, and Magenta Infomatics that develops Energy Management technologies.
