Elektrobit and Synopsys have announced availability of EB tresos Classic AUTOSAR software for Synopsys’ DesignWare ARC EM and ARC HS Functional Safety (FS) Processor IP. EB has ported its Classic AUTOSAR software to Synopsys’ ARC EM and HS Functional Safety Processors.
This will accelerate early software development and enable semiconductor vendors, Tier 1 suppliers, and car makers in software development and innovation for automotive applications.
ARC are embedded processors originally designed by ARC International. They are a family of 32-bit central processing units that can be optimized for a wide range of uses. ARC Processor-based hardware and software platforms enable automotive SoC developers to quickly develop safety-critical functions based on the AUTOSAR standard.
AUTOSAR is a worldwide development partnership of car manufacturers, suppliers and other companies from the electronics, semiconductor and software industry. AUTOSAR aims to improve complexity management of integrated E/E architectures.
Combined solution supports an integrated safety manager for single-chip automotive solutions that lower system costs, reduces chip power consumption and area, and enhances real-time response rate.
